Amphitrite: Goddess of the sea and wife of Poseidon.
Andiånd: A mythologized version of permafrost. The frozen lungs (Eternal Breath) and other leftover pieces of the giant Ymir stored beneath the earth.
Anthebe: Fictional city based on Hebe (goddess of youth), Antheia (goddess of vegetations and symbolised by gold coloured items) and Thebes (important city in Greek Mythology and the one of the sites from Heracles’ myths).
Ask and Embla: The first two humans created by Odin, Vili and Ve.
Audhaumla: Primeval cow that nourished Ymir.
Demeter: Goddess of agriculture and the harvest. Mother of Persephone. One of the 12 major Olympian deities worshiped by ancient Greeks.
Gaea: Primeval earth goddess. Mother of the cyclops and titans, grandmother to the greek gods.
Garden of Hesperides: A grove of apple trees that bore golden apples. Gift to Hera upon her marriage to Zeus. The golden apples were believed to give immortality to the gods who consumed them.
Hera: Goddess of marriage, family, childbirth, and women. Hera is the wife of Zeus. One of the 12 major Olympian deities worshiped by ancient Greeks.
Heracles: Divine hero and son of Zeus. The Greek version of Hercules.
Hesperides (nymphs): nymphs of evening and golden light of sunsets. Caretakers of the garden.
Ingvar: Human king of the newly formed village.
Jotunheim: Frosty realm of the giants. One of the Nine Worlds.
Ladon: The dragon, who guarded the apples of the Garden of Hesperides.
Lernaean Hydra: a poisonous snake-like monster with multiple heads. These heads would multiplicate in the absence of a destroyed head.
Midgard: Abode of mankind; the earth. One of the Nine Worlds.
Mount Olympus: the highest mountain in Greece and home of the Olympians.
Muspell: Hot, bright, glowing realm in the south. One of the Nine Worlds.
Niflheim: Outer region of cold and darkness; abode of Hel. One of the Nine Worlds.
Odinn: Chief of the gods and brother of Vili and Ve.
Olympians: The principal gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece. Generally, counted as 12 deities with Hestia, Dionysus and Hades considered related but not a part of the official 12.
Poseidon: God of the sea, storms, horses and earthquakes. One of the 12 major Olympian deities worshipped by ancient Greeks.
Surtr: Fire demon dwelling in Muspell.
Theseus: Son of Aegeus. Most renowned for the myth of the Minotaur and the labyrinth.
Valhalla: Great hall in Asgard where Odin received souls of heroes killed in battle.
Vili and Ve: Two of the brother of Odin.
Ymir: Primeval frost giant killed by Odin, Vili, and Ve; world created from his body.
Zeus: King of the Olympians and the god of the sky, weather, law and order, destiny and fate, and kingship.
